2009 Australian Open Update
Andy Murray was defeated by Fernando Verdasco in a tough 5 set match at the Australian Open. We have a feeling that Verdasco’s intense training with Andre Agassi's former workout buddy Gil Reyes may have played a role.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (2008 Aussie Open Runner-up) has defeated James Blake in straight sets. It will be an exciting match when he faces Verdasco in the next round.
The fourth-round matches were full of disappointment as three players were forced to retire during the match. Maybe they should sign up for Gil Reyes fitness classes…

The 2009 Australian Open starts this Monday. Many Tennis Experts predict that Andy Murray will go far this year...even beating Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer with ease. In other news, it will also be the first time in a while that Federer will not be the top seed at the tournament and the #1 tennis player in the world.

James Blake has been with Nike since forever. Not anymore. Blake will be sporting Fila apparel in 2009 and beyond. He has inked a long-term deal with a lot of creative freedom in his apparel designs so it should be an interesting and exciting relationship. About Me!
Hey guys, my name is Ivan and I'm the guy that runs this Xanga! I am a sophomore computer science major at Rice University in Houston, TX. I love playing tennis! I play for the Rice club tennis team and try to attend as many club tournaments as I can.
My weapon of choice is the Wilson K Six One Tour 90. I string it with a Pro Supex Big Ace Red 17g and Wilson Extreme Synthetic Gut 16g hybrid. My grip of choice is the Wilson Pro Overgrip. My current shoes are the Adidas Barricade V, in the red, white, and black color.
